Buy Sandwiches, Get Sandwiches?
These days, customers are looking to get the most possible bang for their buck, and businesses are looking for ways to be stand out in increasingly competitive markets. One of the places where these needs meet is through rewards programs. Stay enough nights at a hotel, get a night free. Fly enough miles with your preferred airline, get a free trip. Buy enough sandwiches, get points to put towards drinks, sides, or even more sandwiches. Haven’t heard of that last one? Haven’t heard of the Subway Rewards program?
Registering for the Subway Rewards Program
With the Subway Rewards program, all that you have to do is register for the card online. You may also be able to register in person at your local Subway, but not all Subway restaurants do this. After you have registered, every dollar spent earns one reward point when you swipe your card at the register. If you’re the forgetful type and are worried about leaving your rewards card at home, you can give your mobile number at the check-out to earn points to earn points without swiping your card.
While it’s not exactly a reward program, sandwich lovers should give a thought to registering with Subway online and downloading the Subway app for additional features, updates, and exclusive sales. A Subway Reward program paired with the Subway App is a one-two punch that guarantees a knock-out dining experience.
The Point System
So how do the points work? Once you’ve stored up enough points, you can apply the points to your order in the place of cash. Ten reward points gets a free cookie, and 100 points gets a free foot-long sub, with several other benchmarks in-between so you can use your points to get things like free fountain drinks, bags of chips, and other Subway Rewards.
Adding smaller amounts of points to other orders can allow you to trick out your usual orders with things like additional toppings or extra meat on menu items.
The reward points that you earn can expire, but it takes a full three years from the date that they were earned, so there’s no rush to use those points. Use them quick by adding sides and drinks to every sandwich you order, or using them sparingly for a complete meal every now and again. The more often you visit, the quicker the points add up.
Is There a Participating Subway Near You? There could be!
The Subway Reward Program is only available at participating Subways, so they might not work everywhere, and it might be good to check with your local Subway before trying to sign up or use points that you earned at another Subway.
If the Subway near you isn’t a member of the Subway Rewards Program, consider asking them to consider joining the program. If the manager knows that there is community interest, they are likely to join the program.
